Le Gîte

It is in the old village school made of granite, wood and slate that we offer you to stay for your holidays according to your sporting, cultural or escape-relaxation desires…

The Llo gîte, a mountain eco-accommodation, halfway between a refuge and a mountain hotel, offers its guests a friendly, warm and comfortable atmosphere. You will find a large living room with a library to relax in, an outdoor terrace for your meals, a garden with children’s games and tables to sit on.

Located in the small village of Llo, at an altitude of 1500m, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees, you will find a few steps from the cottage Les Bains de Llo, not far from a chapel and a castle, a via ferrata and the sunniest peaks in France!

With friendliness we welcome you in different formulas:

  • Overnight stays with optional :p lunch and/or evening table (from 8 p.) and/or small extra kitchen to help you out
  • Half board (Minimum group of 8 people) including breakfast and evening table
  • Free management (with professional kitchen rental) if you are a large group. During the high season, we prefer stays of 2 nights minimum and from 3 nights, the rate is reduced.

 

For any special request: group of friends; families, hiking club, company, or family), contact us for a quick quote!

With a capacity of 50 people, you will have at your disposal: for each room 2 sleeping areas and private bathrooms and toilets. In the common areas of the ground floor: a common lounge, two dining rooms, an extra kitchinette, an outdoor terrace with tables, a garden and wifi.

Our animal friends are not allowed.

A change of scenery is guaranteed in the Spanish enclave of Llivia, a few kilometres away, for a tapas evening or a stroll through the typical old town… A few kilometres away, the town of Puigcerda will make you discover its Spanish Catalan specialities with a breathtaking view of the mountains.

To go back in time, head to the Chapel of San Feliu, Belloc and San Marti to discover Romanesque art. You can also visit the Vauban citadel of Mont-Louis, the solar ovens of Odeillo and Mont-Louis, the solar site of the Tour de Themis in Targasonne, take a ride in the famous Little Yellow Train.
